The song deals with the alienation
of man from his own natural habitat
and the parasitic behavior with
which we have subjugated the earth.
An original characteristic of this
kind of alienation is to understand
oneself no longer as a highly
developed mammal, but as something
above all other living beings.
Religious ideas in particular have
contributed to this false self-
image. The inspiration was the book
"Sapiens" by Yuval Noah Harari.
Essentially, the song describes a
dystopian scenario in which
humanity, having reached the height
of decadence, loses supremacy and
predators prey on us.

mirrored in the eyes of the scavenger.

as we thrive in this grotesque alienation,
mankind´s fatal sightlessness brings forth its death.
poisoned waters. world is crying.
venom in veins. signs of dying.

as blood is spit and skin turns pale,
hearing with fear, their claws so near.
when we feel our scepter break...
